ZACHOR will contain Panns works from 1914-18 in remembrance of the pogroms and expulsion of Jews who lived along the Russo-German border and were suspected of collaborating with the Germans. The artist focused on these events in a series of pastels which in part were recreated in lithographs in the 1920s. This series was first named "By Order of the Czar" but was changed in the 1920s to "Vale of Tears" then "River of Tears."
Pann series of works on the Jewish Holocaust in World War II are part of the Yad Vashem collection in Jerusalem, and the series on pogroms is part of the Israel Musem collection in Jerusalem.
An original limited and numbered edition of only 290 copies.

Book size of 50 x 70 cm, printed on Rive dArches fine paper, with a high
quality process silk screen printing.
Bound with a cover of leather and "suedine" fabric, embellished with a silver sterling 925 ornamentation and decorated with the Pann work "Jewish Martyrdom" (1944). The book will be protected by a lavish case made in the best tradition of craftsmanship.
